“Aigua, infern, cell” tells the effort to transform a group of athletes who started as a team without many international hits and became Olympic champions. The team is the Spanish National Water Polo, which had to adapt their characters and ways to play.
Manel Estiarte, Pedro García, Salvador Gómez, Miguel Ángel Oca, Dani Ballart, Jordi Sans and Antony Gonzàlez trained extremely hard, eight hours a day in and out of the water, under the command of Dragan Matutinovich, a Croatian coach who applied physical and psychological suffering as a method of training and improvement. This training helped them to reach their first major victory and start the path to becoming the best selection of the world."
Buona Visione!
